A stem of the element that generates the Day Master, with the same polarity. Water generates Wood, so for a Jia (Yang Wood) Day Master, Ren (Yang Water) is Indirect Resource.

Why the English names vary
“Gods” renders 神, a word for a symbolic role rather than a deity. English material differs on almost every name: 偏印 appears as Indirect Resource, Intuitive Resource and other variants. Energy Archetype states both so a reader can match this page against other sources.

How is this different from Direct Resource?
Both are stems of the element that generates the Day Master. Indirect Resource shares the polarity and is read as more self-directed and less conventional; Direct Resource has the opposite polarity and is read as steadier, more supportive learning.
Does this category say anything about my education?
It is read as a style of taking in knowledge, not as an achievement level. Educational outcomes depend on circumstance and effort the chart does not measure.
Is Indirect Resource the same as Intuitive Resource in my report?
